Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 77729
Copy paste of List Box form control losses "List Content"
Last modified: 2007-08-19 03:36:54 UTC
Create any database Create a table Create a form, with some bound controls. Edit>Select ALL Copy the controls to the clip board Delete the controls Paste the controls Field bound to information is lost For Listbox and combobox content entry is lost Test with 2.2.1 RC1 WinXP and 2.3m2_212 WinXP, both fail. Test with 2.1 on Ubuntu no problem.
With "field bound to" you mean "Data field", I suppose? "Content entry" is "List content"? Can reproduce with "List content", with 2.1 as well as 2.2.1 RC2. IIRC there already is an issue for this (somewhat older). Cannot reproduce with "Data field". The "Version" field of this issue talks about RC2, the above description about RC1 - which one is correct? I'm somewhat confused since Edit/Select All doesn't select the controls for me, but be it ...
I tested with 2.2.1 RC2 Yes, I mean the Bound field name is lost when I copy / paste Yes, with a listbox if the content type is SQL then the actual SELECT statment is lost with a copy past. As for not working under 2.1, that was just a mistake on my part - the version is 2.0.4 Ubuntu release 4, community build. Select all - yes, sorry again - should be lasso all controls... Sorry - I am trying to squeeze some testing into a little free time today..going to fast and costing everyone extra effort.
