Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 77740
Conditional formatting is tempremental
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:13:30 UTC
Set up a conditional formatting style for a cell with a red background. Enter the values 3 in B5, 10 in B7, and 11 in D7. Conditionally format cell D7 to turn red if it's value is less than SUM(OFFSET(D4;0;1;1;$B5))+$B7 Enter the values 1 in E4 and 1 in F4: Cell D7 should turn red but it does not. Move the active cell to the right until cell D7 disappears from view and then move the active cell back to D7. Cell D7 is now red. Delete the value 1 from cell F4. The red background from cell D7 should disappear but it does not. Move the active cell to the right until cell D7 disappears from view and then move the active cell back to D7. The red background from cell D7 now disappears.
Confirmed in 2.2.1 on Fedora Linux 7, as described above.
Created attachment 46695 [details] Sample document made from reporter instructions.
Confirmed on OOo 2.2.1 Win XP Formating is also updated if cell D7 is clicked on or highlighted, or if OOo window is minimised and maximised. Pracslipkerm :-)
Hi Niklas, maybe it's something with the OFFSET as the cell with the conditional format doesn't get the information about a changed value. Maybe it's a double. Frank
Its been 4 months since I reported this bug: Is anybody working on correcting it?
Is anybody looking at fixing this bug??
When will this be fixed: Its nearly 12 months since I reported it.
Hi cfleming, messing around with the Issue does not make it faster to solve it. Re-assigning it back from the developer to the general spreadsheet owner is counter productive. I've corrected it. You may also try the newest development version. Frank
