The background shouldn't become gray when protect the sheet.
1. Create a new Spreadsheet and input a random number in a cell;
2. View -> value highlighting;
3. Tools -> Protect Document -> Sheet;
4. input the password -> OK;
The background become gray.
P.S. It will become OK after switch to the preview page.

The gray background is there on purpose, to see quickly which cells are not
protected and available for input. I don't want to just remove that.
