I tried opening up one of my databases (fully embedded) with the latest Aqua
alpha of OO.org and I got an error saying that no JRE was found, even though
Apple's JRE was found in the preferences dialog. As a result, I am unable to
access any records in the database.

Set Keyword, and set the correct milestone ( aquavcl01 is sync'ed with m211)

+ Probably duplicated with Manuel issue about base ( #i78103# )

Can you please precise the processor ? ( PowerPC or Intel ?)

PowerPC.  No idea if it appears on Intel or not as I don't own an Intel Mac yet.

Please try the X11 version from ftp://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/. This 
issue has been resolved in version OOF680_m18 and is still resolved  in 2.2.1rc3_20070601, which is 
OOF680_m18  I suppose. 

I do not know if the source that is used with the aqua version (SRC280_m211) has been synched with 
OOF680_m18. If that still has to be synched to that version, you can be sure that the issue is resolved as 
soon as that has happened.
