Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 78668
WW8: Setting a number range value not correctly exported
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:19:58 UTC
In both OOo and Word it is possible to set a variables value. In Writer: Insert > Fields > Other... > Variables Give the variable a name E.g. Example and a value e.g. 2 On saving the file in Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.Doc) format the field is converted to a SEQ field without the optional parameter /r to set its value.
Created attachment 46067 [details] .odt file showing a variable with start value of 2
Created attachment 46068 [details] .Doc file from Writer showing loss of variables value
Created attachment 46069 [details] .Doc file showing /r parameter in SEQ field for setting value
MRU->HBRINKM: when a number range field is exported with a special start value, this must be recognized by the export to a SEQ field with parameter /r.
