Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 7915
Shortcut keys...
Last modified: 2003-03-13 11:14:16 UTC
I tried to bind a few shortcut keys to certain tasks in Staroffice 6.0. Among them were Ctrl + '+' and Ctrl + Shift + [any number]. These keys didn't work.
TM->UHE: Please have a look, thanks !
This is reproducible in a current inhouse version (Bug-Id #103833#).
Please have a look, thanks!
I will have a look at this problem.
I haven't been able to reproduce this problem so far. Maybe the submitter can provide more information about his installation and version.
This bug is reproduceable under Linux/Solaris but I looks like a VCL problem as we don't get a KeyEvent but the application module. So pressing CTRL+SHIFT+"0" does print "=" on the screen. Philip will take care of this problem, thanks!
pl->cd: Actually Ctrl-Shift-0 is Ctrl-(Shift)-Equal by the Xservers opinion. Same goes for the other numbers. I don't think it would be prudent to change the delivered keycode depending on the modifier state. Any ideas ?
I talked with Falko Tesch about this problem and we came to the conclusion that we should disable all keyboard shortcuts that are not supported by a platform. Currently VCL has a special table for hard-coded keyboard shortcuts that can also be used to disable the non-accessible shorcuts. Please ask SSA for more information.
changed in CWS vcl02
Fixed: Ctrl + Shift + [any number] is greyed out in the dialog: Tools/Configure.../Keyboard.
Reopened.
Reassigned to myself.
Set back to fixed.
Verified.
As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details.
