If you make a custom named print range.
- select a region and Insert > Names > Define and make it a print range in the
more dialog, the name shows up in the print range dialog when you edit print
ranges, or select print ranges.
-this time put more than one selection in the named range. You will need to do
it manually as selecting more regions just writes over previously selected ones.
Now when you go to the print range dialog Format > Print range > Edit. The named
print range does not appear, which means that you can't select it and therefore
this great feature is very limited in its scope to contiguous print ranges only.

Is this an issue anymore? You still can't use more than one named print range at
a time in 3.3 but maybe you shouldn't be able to?

What about printing out separate pages of selected named print ranges from a
very large spreadsheet? I think that might be a useful thing to do. Then you set
up multiple named print ranges to be printed out in one print run rather than
doing each named print range at a time.

Just some thoughts.
