Just saw this too. I'm currently away from my systems but I'll have a look on Saturday. What is the actual call guw chokes on? (I'll see that too on Saturday)

Strange, I changed the pathes a little bit to enable creation of multiple services.rdb files (native99). But what is wrong with a path like: f:/home/pavel/BuildDir/ooo_SRC680_m226_src/instsetoo_native/ wntmsci10.pro/OpenOffice/msi/gid_Starregistry_Services_Rdb/en-US_inprogress_1/regcomp.rdb In m226 the services.rdb and regcomp.rdb are created in the solver of instsetoo_native. In the past it was in the temp-directory. This was introduced by the changes in native99. To use the temp-directory again, only a small change is necessary: solenv/bin/modules/installer/systemactions.pm, line 197: Making the matching with "rdb" case insensitive, with an "i" after the ending slash: /rdb\s*$/i OBO is currently testing this.

Yes, please use in solenv/bin/modules/installer/servicesfile.pm the line 915 instead of 916 (shifting the hash).

If that helps, good! But if not try the attached patch for guw.cc. The patch is only a band aid, as it just switches of the fatal error. guw should gracefully handle "mixed mode" dos paths (c:/foo/bar) with '/' and not '\' (This is even the preferred form) but obviously, it doesn't. I'll follow up in issue 81009.

IS -> OBO: The extension "_rdb" in servicesfile.pm line 915 is not a good choice, because it is already used for regcomplazy. This will lead to copy errors, if regcomplazy is used (not in URE). Therefore please choose the extension "_servicesrdb" and everything will work fine: my $uniquedirname = $servicesgid . "_servicesrdb";
