Description raindrops 2007-09-04 14:16:22 UTC
In the context menu, there are some options that have no submenus.
The only thing you see is <No selection possible> in gray.

In such case, showing the menu option itself is wasteful. Gray it out.

Example:
1. Insert a shape (e.g. smiley)
2. Select it and r-click. Check out the "alignment" menu. It has no options.
In this case, it would be better to either remove that option or to gray it out.

cd: This issue must be discussed with mmp, who is reponsible for our menus. From
my point of view this would be a good idea as we already do it for the menu bar.
Target must be discussed with user experience team.

Also the menus (main) have sub menus (format) where sub-entries are not usable
at that time but they are not greyed out (Format/Arrange)...

changed to framework as component

Please, don't remove submenus, but gray it out.

I'd also like to see grayed "masters" on gray "slaves" in favour of hiding them.
