Although this enhancement has been raised as an issue a number of times, nothing
has happened for 18 months that I can see. The feature of splitting the writer
window is a vital one for me as I constantly revisit contents pages on long
documents I am writing to check on numbering and position, fonts and font sizes,
etc. I am sure many other people would welcome this enhancment but so far as I
can see, nothing has happened for ages. Can you include it as soon as possible
in a forthcoming release, please?
