I create a database table with a binary image field.
In the form image control i can get the "insert graphics from..." context menu
item to "upload" an image from disk to database.
I could not see a way to "download" / save the image from database to disk again.

You can do it, if you generate a report (Sun Report Builder).

yes this works, thank you for the hint.
one observation: insert one jpeg into the database via form, saved it as jpg
from the report, and the image has different size and as it appears to me
slightly different colors. how can this happen?

of course i mean "jpg" in both cases (insert/save) in the last comment.
