Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 8180
database query ranges remaining after delete/move sheet
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:13:53 UTC
The problem involved database ranges not being removed on sheet delete and interfereing with other database ranges on other sheets. Steps: 1 have a jdbc data source 2 create a new spreadsheet (by default will have 3 sheets) 3 drag-n-drop table/query 1 into cell A1 sheet1 4 drag-n-drop table/query 2 into A1 sheet2 5 drag-n-drop table/query 3 into A1 sheet3 6 delete sheet1 and sheet2 7 data->refresh range on sheet3 8 table/query 3 is replaced in sheet3 with on of the other tables (1 or 2) On inspection of the ranges all three (import1,import2,import3) database ranges belong to sheet3. My expected result was the sheet3 would retain query3 and the other ranges (import1,import2) would be removed (or at least not interfer with existing database range on sheet3.

As issue 15494 has been marked as a duplicate of this one, I want to make sure that it is recorded here that the issue also applies to data pilots.
FMA->FST: Please re-target this issue to OOo 2.0.1, it is important enough to have it in OOo 2.0.x. If not possible please escalate it! Thx. FMA
