Create an outline group that contains a checkbox (the checkbox is linked to a
cell in the group)
Collapse the group
The checkbox doesn't get hidden
(besides suffering the effects of bug:

This problem happens with other form controls, not just checkboxes, and is
linked to the other bug pointed in the first comment.

as you've found out by yourself, this is a double to Issue 28244 .
