No Picture Aligning in cells possible

- Make a big cell (stretch one or merge some cells)
- Insert a Picture (Insert,Picture, from file ...)
- Aligning not possible with:
  alignment options in the picture toolbar are disabled)
  in contextmenu Alignment: <no selection possible>

Formatting the Cell doesnt has no effect too
reproduced with OOo 2.2.1 and 2.3

Of course alignment is possible - you can drag the image using the mouse pointer
of move the selected image using the shift keys. 
 
I can't find any hint that this does not work "as designed", but may be you have
an idea for an Enhancement or useful new features? In WRITER tables more
alignment possibilities are offered, but the anchoring model for pictures in
WRITER is completely different from the one in CALC, so I doubt that there are
many possibilities.

of curse, mouse dragging is one way, but not the best with many pics at many
pages It would be nice when aligning like in writer is possible, (left, right
center, top, middle,bottom) in addition to mousedragging ;)

Hi,

so this one is for the requirements team.

Graphics toolbar contains alignment drop down box but content is grayed out.

Enhancement for sidebar

Since AOO 4, we can add buttons to sidebar too (see mockup)

That will be better and useful :-)
