Description andrewsjd 2007-10-02 10:38:30 UTC
When the page orientation is changed from portrait to landscape, the page does
not re-center on the screen. The result is that the page disappears to the
right and the horizontal scroll bar, though present, is "full", i.e., cannot be
used to scroll right.

The page re-centers when 1) text or other characters are typed to the right
margin, or 2) the file is closed and reopened.

This may be related to the problem reported in issue 11536.

@OD: please have a look!
Comment 2 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2007-10-02 15:08:44 UTC
Reproduced with a new empty Writer document, which fits into the window and is
centered, but only under a certain condition:
When increasing the width of the page (switching to landscape or changing the
page width directly) and the page with the new width doesn't fit into the
window, the position of the page isn't adjusted.

Additional workaround:
Scroll via horizontal scrollbar.

Issue 11536 describes a defect in the print preview, isn't related to this issue
and is already fixed.

adjusting target to OOo 3.x, because this defect isn't very serious.

OD->FME: Please take over, because you're currently working on the page layout, Thx.

Sometimes the scrollbar is also inactive, even if the page is not completely
shown. See that thread for more details, especially the last posts :
