The tip help of a selected extension should contain a short description about
the purpose of the extension. Where to add such a description also needs to get
into the developers guide.

What is when the extension does not define a tooltip text, shall then a default
be displayed?

If the extension creator does not deliver a tip help, then it is better not to
show a tip help at all for such an extension than to think about a default,
which cannot be as helpful as a concret content.

JL->BH:Just to make sure, the tooltips displayed for the content of an extension
and seperately installed xcu, dlls, jars,rdbs shall be removed?

The tooltip which exists for the Extension Manager's GUI prio 3.0 will be
displayed directly in the new GUI. What might be changed is that we append the
word extension at the end of the text. So there is not tooltip in 3.0.

We will still be able to install dlls, type libraries etc. separatly. Then there
will be no description, because this is a feature for extension only. But it
will probably displayed something like "type library" etc. instead of "Extension".

Unless we want to remove these appended strings in the description, I will close
this issue as invalid. Bettina, what do you think?

New GUI will be integrated for 3.0.
