Description anieden 2007-11-14 21:55:54 UTC
In the attached document, a line break occurs between “angetan†and “werdenâ€,
although it should occur between the typographical closing quotation mark and
the left bracket (as there is enough space left on the first line). When I
replace either the closing quotation mark or the left bracket with some normal
character, all goes well.

MRU->KHONG: see attached document, the line break is in a wrong position - it
should be where the quote is separated from the left bracket by a blank. Worked
fine at least in OO 2.2.

SBA, do you agree to fix this in OO 2.4?

Note that the same phenomenon also occurs between other characters if the same
type. For example, you could use a parenthesis instead of the bracket or even a
curly brace and would still see the problem. Likewise if you replace the « with
a â€. (The last two special characters were Alt-0171 and Alt-0148 on Windows,
respectively, just in case they get corrupted in this comment.)

Yes, this is a most annoying bug that's really wreaking havoc with some book
productions I'm working on.
