Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 84103
cannot set data in xy diagram in draw
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:21:28 UTC
Take a new draw document. Insert a diagram via toolbar button. Change the diagram type to xy-diagram with points and lines. Open Chart Data Table. Delete second y-series, named "column 3". Now try to enter the data A 1 0,5 B 2 1 C 5 3 D 10 4 When you close the dialog the x-series and the y-series become identical. This does only happen, if you insert the diagram directly with the toolbar button. If you cut the newly inserted diagram and paste it to its old place, it will work as expected. Also in a diagram, which you copy&paste from calc, you can alter the data without problems.
@IHA: Pls have a look.
Forgot to change owner.
->Björn, please take over as the data table is your baby.
added ErrorBar spec URL.
removing URL, wrong issue, sorry.
Hm, seems to be also the wrong owner.
changing target to 3.0
Workaround: delete the series directly in the chart instead of in the data dialog. changed target to 3.1
change owner

@iha: the patch is submitted. Please let me know your suggestions about the solution. Thank you!
@weiz, thanks for the patch. It does fix the symptoms - but it is not correct. The patch would break the logic of the function lcl_getSharedSequences. Instead the method DataBrowserModel::removeDataSeries needs to be fixed. I commited an accordingly changed fix to CWS chart35.
@Kla, please verify in CWS chart35. Thanks!
Seen ok in cws chart35 -> verified
