Description eric.bachard 2007-12-10 13:17:19 UTC
Mac OS X 10.4 / Aqua build m237 ( but all are concerned )

open a document in writer, write something. Then open Help, choose a topic, and try : Apple key + P
, to print the help page

-> the writer page is printed instead of the help one, and this is not correct.

After being discussed on IRC, Philipp Lohmann suggested :

" this is a result of native menu bars. Probably we don't switch to the correct one in that moment."

the help page simply has no menu in OOo, which is why the displayed menubar is
that of the last document. We should switch to the default menu for the help
then, at least people won't expect that Command-P prints when there is no
"Print" entry.

To print the help use the button in help's toolbox.

Which is exactly described in the previous entries. The point is that the active
menu was that of the document before. It is not anymore, exactly as described.
If you think that the menu entry "Presentation" will not open a presentation, I
can't help you.
