Description redflagzhulihua 2007-12-19 05:53:37 UTC
1. Create a calc document;
2. Input Chinese characters in a cell;
3. Select the cell, press CTRL-C;
4. Select another cell, from tool bar, paste->DDE link  or  DIF;

Chinese characters go garbage.

@redflagzhulihua: Does this only apply for spreadsheets? If not, framework would
be the appropriate category, please check.
I guess the reason for this problem is that neither DDE nor DIF support UTF-8.

Best regards
Peter

Hi,

as Peter mentioned, DDE is not Unicode capable as far as I know, but let's
framework decide.

Mathias, your construction site ? If not, please re-assign to the correct developer.
