Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 8482
Document with a style named "default" has problems importing in OO
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:43:45 UTC
Attached is a document with a style name called default. OO imports the style correctly. OO also imports the "normal" style with the name "default" The problem is that OO applies the original "default" to the "normal" style as well. Open attachment for more details. File was created using Word 2K.
Created attachment 3223 [details] Attachment for the problem.
reassigned to mru@openoffice.org
MRU->CMC: The user created a para style named "default" in his Word document. This leads to problems when importing this into an English version of OO. Perhaps we should catch this case and rename this style to "defaultWWrenamed". But then, we still cannot be sure, if he user doesn't create a sty with that new name..... :-( What do you think about this?
Hmm, the "normal" style is the "default" style in writer, so "normal" becomes "default". So we swap the "normal" name with "default", would making "default" into "normal" to keep the symmetry be a good idea, or it that just too clever. I'll think about it.
Created attachment 8728 [details] hmm, own own format can be made do the same thing
Suddenly became a lot more important :-), fixed in waterfordfilterteam12 will be in 1.1.1.
