Description ftoth 2008-02-06 09:14:51 UTC
When recording revisions new text is shown underlined and deleted text is shown
strike through by default. Additionally the paragraph is marked.

We would like the possibility to only mark the changed paragraph.

This would require new text to be unmarked. This is already possibly using the
attribute <none> in the revision marking setup.

* Additionaly it requires the attribute <hidden> for deleted text.

* Note 1: the best we can do at this time is to mark deleted text with
attribute <background> but this shows a large white gap in place of deleted

* Note 2: currently you can mark deleted text with the attribute <none>. This
allow to show added and deleted text without any distinction. Great, but why
would we need that?

Sorry, I originally posted this to another bugzilla and was not monitoring this one.

Please allow me reset the status until the attachment is reviewed.

I believe the original bug description covers it well, but
the example shows the same.

We just want to draw the reader of our documents to the changed sections of the document, marking the changed paragraphs is more then enough.

We've noted that not many people use revission marking because the document get's too cluttered.
