Description aidan.butler 2008-02-07 12:09:42 UTC
In some cases the Change All is not working on the spellchecker. The
spellchecker seems to cycle through the errors, and then asks if I wish to
continue from the start of the doc. The "Spellcheck is Complete" dialog then
displays. On closing the dialog, there are still miss-spelled words in the document.

On the attached doc, run the spell-check, and select change all until
"SpellCheck is complete" is shown. Close the dialog. There will be still 2
miss-spelled words in the document.

Reassigned to SBA.
Comment 4 thomas.lange 2008-02-11 09:45:31 UTC
TL->SBA: Confirmed. How about 3.x as target? Or do you think it should done for
OOo 3.0?
Comment 5 stefan.baltzer 2008-02-11 11:56:28 UTC
SBA: Same in OOH680_m6. This is not broken. Set target to OOo 3.x.
I noted that after the first "Chang All" click, the "next" misspelled word does
NOT appear red bold highlighted in the dialog (maybe because the dialog updates
with strings that are "currently" being changed...).
Reassigned to TL.

TL-SBA: Since we have reworked all of the related menus and dialogs and their
implementations (at least in Writer), can you please check of this issue still
applies? And if it is fixed by now for ALL applications? Thanks!

*** Issue 103158 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. ***
Comment 8 Michael H. 2012-03-02 00:01:50 UTC
Still an issue 3.3.x

When spellchecking (via F7/menu) is not initiated at the beginning of a
document and "Change all" has been clicked for at least one misspelled word,
prior instances of all misspelled words to be corrected are not changed when
checking is continued after reaching end of document.
