Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 8691
Right border is missing, when user tries to copy/paste one or several table columns
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:56:16 UTC
Reduplication Steps: 1.Create a new text document in OO 1.0.1 2.Insert a 5column by 2row table into the document 3.Select and copy 2 columns of the table 4.Paste them to the same document, you will find that the right border is missing I tried to copy 1, 2, 3, 4 columns, the same thing happened. But it works fine when I copy and paste the entire row. I reproduced this issue on both Windows Me/OO 1.0.1 and Windows 2000/OO 1.0.1
Jiehua, thank you for using and supporting OOo. Duplicated on Win NT 4.0 SP6a, OOo 643.
Joost->Jiehua: the behaviour is correct because the right border is not set within a table. You could check it by selecting two columns within a table and then opening the /Format/Table dialog on the tabpage "Borders". If you select the last two columns then you will have borders on the right side. Within a table just the left, upper and lower border is set.
As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified.
