Description pagalmes.lists 2008-03-16 14:02:48 UTC
It would be nice if we could select the notes we want to see. Quite a few
criteria could be used to filter the visible/invisible notes :

- Allow to see only the notes from the selected authors
- Allow to filter on the date
- Allow to filter on the content of the note
- Allow to filter on the content of the text to which the note is related
- others ?

Once a filter would be applied, we should navigate only through the displayed
notes (in the navigator).

Note : maybe this filter box could also be shared with the current "changes dialog".

Reassigned to ES.
Comment 2 eric.savary 2008-03-17 13:40:43 UTC
@christophnoack: that's what I once proposed (using/writing a new dialog lik
"Accept / Reject cahnges"). Do we already have an issue on this?
Comment 3 eric.savary 2008-03-17 14:14:04 UTC

Search for: "Sorting and filtering of notes information"

Changed summary
Comment 5 christoph 2008-03-18 23:13:31 UTC
@es: There are several requests for that functionality "hidden" in previous
issues. And, thanks for adding the link to the wiki page!

@all: Sadly, the current priority for that is relatively low - there are more
urgent issues in the basic functionality to solve at the moment. By the way, we
will soon implement searching for the Notes' content, This would address "filter
content of the Notes".

>>>By the way, we will soon implement searching for the Notes' content,

What does "soon" mean ;-) ?
Comment 7 christoph 2008-03-19 00:22:53 UTC
@mod: You mentioned CWS "notes3", didn't you? I read it there...
Comment 8 max.odendahl 2008-03-19 19:34:14 UTC

I knew this would bite me, so I changed it from notes3 to "planned for upcoming
cws's" some days ago ;-)

Anyway, let's discuss offline
Comment 9 Martin Hollmichel 2008-12-10 11:18:00 UTC
move target to 3.2.
Comment 10 thorsten.ziehm 2009-11-04 13:55:28 UTC
OOo 3.2 is in show-stopper stage. This issue is re-targeted to OOo 3.x. If this
issue is critical for the current release please target it back.
