The notion of Format painting as implemented in MSWord by CTRL+Shift/C - 
CTRL+Shift/V is missing. This feature can't be covered by styles as one would 
first have to find out what all the attributes are on the source text.

Thank you for using and supporting OOo.

User would like the ability to copy and paste "formats" for text.

That is what the Ctrl-Shift-C and Ctrl-Shift-V options provide in 
Word 2000.
