Fixed on CWS hro35
This problem still exists in BEA300 m1. When will be integrated? Thanh you.
and in 3.0 Beta too... :-/
copied description from 88888: "Well.. I don't know is the place to write bugs for the OOo 3.0 beta. But I've found a bug in 3.0 beta. I can't save anything. When i press the save button, or "Save" or "Save as.." in the menu OOo just get stuck and there is nothing to do but closing.. I have Windows Vista SP1 but I never had problems with other versions of OOo"
adjusted issue to be a blocker for beta refresh
In general the problem was fixed in m2, but still occurs in Vista systems with SP1.
changed "version"

A work around for this problem is to use the OOo internal file dialog. It can be activated at 'tools/options' in the 'OpenOffice.org' folder select the 'General' page and check 'Use OpenOffice.org dialogs' for Open/Save-dialogs.

Adjusted priority. Not a P1.
The summary was changed. The actual bug is not the same as the initial one. OOo only hangs when saving a new document the first time and only with Vista SP1. OOo on vanilla build of Vista works fine.

Hello, I have also problems with freezing when saving a document (as a .doc file). I've tried the suggestion: "A work around for this problem is to use the OOo internal file dialog. It can be activated at 'tools/options' in the 'OpenOffice.org' folder select the 'General' page and check 'Use OpenOffice.org dialogs' for Open/Save-dialogs." But this doesn't work. Are there other possibilities to try?
