Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 87458
DicOOo opens in a too small window when compiz is used
Last modified: 2008-07-15 14:21:36 UTC
I have no Slovenian spell-checking in OpenOffice. I go to File > Wizard > Install dictionaries. (in Slovenian Datoteka/Carovniki/Namestitev Slovarjev) DicOOo opens with a window with only top left content. And I can't resize the DicOOo window because it's fixed sized. So I can not install Slovenian spell-checking. Ubuntu 7.10 screen resolution 1024+768 Open Office 2.3.0 1ubuntu5.3 openoffice.org-l10n-sl - Slovenian language package for OpenOffice.org DicOOo 1.8 picture of the screen: http://kvark.kss.si/%7Emarjan/DicOOo_ubuntu_710_OOo_230.png

Reassigned to SBA.
It's a Ubuntu problem. You have to disable Compiz, it is incompatible with dialog macros. See this thread http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?p=16753#p16753
