see the testcase.
open file->page preview, click on "next page". notice how "next page" and "last 
page" buttons are still enabled, though there are no more pages. clicking on 
these buttons disables them, but does not do anything else.

I checked with "2.4.0  Multilingual German version WIN XP: [680m12(Build9286)]"
 and can confirm the reported effect for oo.org_calc_preview.ods, but only for
the original document. The effect disappears when I save the document after a
small change in it.
