Hi, When I export a document containing some ZWNJ characters into a PDF document, the result contains ZWNJ characters, while it should not.

TM->HI: please have a look.
pl->hdu: Good question, should PDF contain ZWNJ or not ?
ZWNJ is supposed to be invisible, so it shouldn't matter. Keeping ZWNJ would probably benefit searching for text though. @PL: there are two possible solutions: - filtering ZWNJ out when writing PDF's drawtext, which probably causes problems when someone tries to copy text from the PDF into other applications - embed an empty glyph into the font subset instead of the standard behaviour of showing notdef for glyphs not known to the font
@hdu: I think substituting the empty glyph would be best; as you said this will keep the ZWNJ for e.g. copy and paste.
Actually ZWNJ can have a glyph, as the font in the screenshots, Nazli, do. Because editors can show them when display-control-characters is on. @hdu, Yes, I think having the character, but using an embedded empty glyph would be the best solution. Thanks all, Behnam.
