Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 88583
AutoCorrection changes Font
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:43:03 UTC
Scenario: Writer document with default font "Thorndale". Type some text and include "->". AutoCorrection sets the special character "→". If you highlight this arrow, you will see that the font changed to "Times New Roman". Set "Default Formatting" via context menu changes the font back to "Thorndale".
Add keyword "regression". Additional findings on Linux (Suse with KDE, OOo-DEV300m8). In a document with default font "DejaVu Sans" (set in the paragraph style). All Auto replaced arrows are in Times New Roman. This can be seen only when selecting the arrow. Note that Times is not installed on the system, so this smells a little like "hard-coded font" somewhere... :-)
The acorxxxx.dat files contain the arrow replacment with formatting. While creating replacements the CheckBox 'Text only' has to be checked to get a simple text-to-text replacement. Otherwise a real odt-document will be added to the autocorrection file. It has to be fixed in the extras. reassigned to va regression keyword removed
