Description mfrasca 2008-05-06 09:41:26 UTC
I have a Dutch version of Windows, on this I have installed the English version
of OpenOffice 2.4.0 and I have set it to English (Eire) to avoid problems with
the '.' being seen as a separator for dates.

what is the reason for which importing or typing
Ma3
Di3
Wo3
Do3

all result into 2008-05-03 ?

I understand that in Dutch Ma-andag = Monday, Di-nsdag = Tuesday, Wo-ensdag =
Wednesday, Do-nderdag = Thursday... but then, I don't want automatic
interpretation of data and I don't want Dutch to be used by OpenOffice.

moreover, the 3rd of May 2008 was a Saturday (Zaterdag in Dutch) so each of the
above examples are in error.

on my home system (en_DK.UTF-8 locale, English OO) I see the same behaviour for
the longer codes Mon1, Tue1, Wed1, etc... all incorrectly translated to
2008-05-01 (a Thursday).
