Backspace to remove para break causes bullets/numbering to disappear

- new line - type some text - shft-F12 - Enter - type some text - Home - Backspace -> bullet on first line removed was OK in 2.4.0
set keyword regraession was OK in 2.4.0
This was also present in OO 2.4, but not in 2.3.1 to fully be correct ;-) MRU->OD: start a bullet list, type some text, para break, type some text, go to first pos in second para, two time backspace -> bullet in first para also vanishes.
Seriously, not in my vanilla 2.4.0 :-)
OD->cornouws: Can you please check again your OOo version? I can reproduce this defect under Solaris and Windows with OOo 3.0 BETA _and_ OOo 2.4

OD->cornouws/MRU: Probably, there are misunderstandings about the steps to reproduce the defect. cornouws states that a Backspace at the beginning of the second bulleted paragraph removes the bullet of the previous paragraph. Right? MRU states that you have to hit Backspace twice to get the bullet of the first line removed. Right? cornouws: Does the description of MRU matches your description?
cor@od Yes,my description was wrong: two backspaces are needed. But ... In the mean time I 'updgraded' from BEA300m2 to OOo 3.0.0 Beta (300m2 9301) together with the Dutch Lang Pack. So Dutch UI. And by no means I'm able to reproduce any more. .... However - stay tuned - when I switch UI language to English (Tools|Options|Language settings etc.) and restart, the bug is there ! Switch back to Dutch: it does work correct :-) Cool one, I'm very qurious !
Very curious. OD->cornouws: Can you reproduce the defect in an English OOo 2.4? I have a workaround: Instead of "the second Backspace" at the beginning of the second paragraph use "Delete" at the end of the first paragraph.
@OD: sorry, I only have about 6 OOo-versions running here, but no 2.4.0 English. Would it make sence if I install 2.4.1 RC1 in English?
OD->cornouws: Yes, an OOo 2.4.1 RC1 would also be fine.
Same bug in 2.4.1-RC1 en-US version But not in 2.4.1-RC1 nl version :-) Which is in line mith my findings with 3.0RC1, English <> Dutch
Thus, at the end we experience the same: In English OOo 2.4, OOo 2.4.1 RC1 and OOo 3.0 Beta the defect occurs.
Yip, of course. Plus that we found a strange effect, that really makes me q/curious :-)
due to limited resources I have to re-target this issue to OOo 3.1
Defect no longer occurs in OOo 3.0 RC3 due to the fact that the merging of paragraphs has been changed. resolved as WORKSFORME

Closed. I can confirm, that this now works correctly in OO 3.0.
indeed works fine for me both in English and Dutch version. Thanks!
