The welcome screen that is displayed when you click on the start menu / desktop
icon "OOo-dev 3.0" should include a list of recently opened documents. At the
moment you have to choose a new document of some type then go to the recent menu.

Also, there doesn't appear to be a clear component/subcomponent in bugzilla for
bugs with this screen - I'm not even sure if "welcome screen" is the right name
for it.
