Description georgeen 2008-05-27 21:32:05 UTC
the file I'll attach was created on a MS Office 2007 but saved as MS 2003
document, it can be opened in MS Office 2003 without problems, but in OOo 2.4
and 3.0 beta after the gauge is full (importing finished) the application hangs
and in the task manager appear two OO as not responding, I don´t know what
happen with this file, but the CPU achieve the 100% of charge and I must to kill
the Writer from task manager.
OS WinXP SP3
CPU Genuine Intel Pentium 4 3GHz
1G of RAM

I can confirm it with the attached document under Debian with DEV300_m14 and 2.4.0

MRU->OD: could you please have a look whether this is fixable for OOo 3.0 or
not. The attached complex document leads to a loop in Writer after import.
Comment 4 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2008-05-28 14:05:48 UTC
Investigations reveals that the as-character anchor graphic on page 6 causes the
trouble. This graphic is bigger than the page area.

Attached you will find an changed version of the given text document, which does
not loop - the graphic's anchor type is now to-character.
