Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 91065
Microsoft Excel-Import does not work correctly on worksheets named with no. sign #
Last modified: 2008-07-01 12:44:59 UTC
Hello! First of all: thank you for this very powerfull tool. However, I just had a serious problem when I tried to open a Excel-Workbook containing a lot of worksheets named "#01", "#02" etc. MS-Excel 2003 SP2 was used OOo just renamed the worksheets to "_01", "_02" etc. - This might have been fine if all formulas would have been converted correctly. Unfortunately I am a very advanced user of MS-Excel and used the function "INDIRECT" very often in that particular workbook to calculate cell reference referring to the sheets named "#01", "#02", etc.... The reference was created e.g. by entering #01 in cell E1 on sheet "Summary", with "=INDIREKT("'"&E$1&"'!BJ"&ZEILE(B3))" (german-translation), being the same as "=INDIRECT("'"&E$1&"'!BJ"&ROW(B3))". Problem: the function expects a worksheet named "#01", which has been renamed to "_01" Result: Err 502 Hopefully someone could fix this on the import function for MS-Excel-Spreadsheets PS: MS-Excel allows to rename a worksheet just by double clicking the tab. In OOo I have to right click and choose "rename". Please consider this in any future version of CALC Kind Regards, Martin
In version OOo-dev300-m21_en,this defect still exists. Kind Regards
validating only on Windows XP(åªåœ¨Winsows Xpä¸è¿›è¡Œäº†éªŒè¯)
This is duplicate to #i6087# which is fixed with cws_odff04 (will be integrated into the OOo3.0 codeline) *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 6087 ***
