Shift-Enter should just insert a new line in the same paragraph, whereas Enter
will start a new paragraph. Currently both shortcuts insert a new paragraph, so
you cannot insert a simple line break anymore.
I've seen it on the Mac (DV300m22) but did not check any other platform.

Just checked Windows and Solaris (m22) and found no problem. Seems to be a
Mac-only key input handling issue.
Make sure to enable the display of nonprinting characters to easily see the problem.
