Parameters are asked each time I use filter buttons. Why? I suppose parameters
should be asked ONLY when one presses 'Refresh' button (or make such behaviour
optional at least). Moreover when I join several queries, that have the same
parameter names, in some query, they are asked several times in reports made
from such a query. Imagine asking 'From_date' and 'To_date' four times! In
queries they are asked once, it's correct, but in reports we have problems.

The same problem here. A query with the same parameter used twice (e.g.
:to_date) asks exactly once for the parameter. As soon as this query is used in
a report or database form it asks twice. Any chance to get this fixed or is
there any workaround?

BTW, this still happens in 3.1.1.
