Description orwel 2008-07-08 15:58:29 UTC
If you save a OO Beta 3.0 file (odt) to *.doc the cross-reference numbered
paragraph can not be read in OO Writer if you re-open the *.doc file although
it was created in OO Writer. Ms Word read the cross-reference withou trouble.
See attached files (same one saved as odt other as doc).

MRU->HBRINKM: the reference to the numbered paragraph is correctly exported, but
the re-import does not work. Writer is not able to recognize the target anymore.

The problem also appears when a native word .doc document, is re-saved by OO in
either .doc format or .odt format.
I think this is an important issue as it can lead to unexpected data loss.

This issue also seems to be related to other similar issues outstanding since
OO2.* :
Issue 68701
Issue 93912
