Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 92790
Wrong: Input "%" to Subject box on inserting hyperlink
Last modified: 2008-08-15 00:19:40 UTC
To reproduce: Hyperlink->mail & news->E-mail->Subject, input "test@test.com" in Receiver box and "%" to Subject box, then ok. Result: mailto:test@test.com?subject=%25 Expectation: mailto:test@test.com?subject=% without 25.
Created attachment 55770 [details] email subject % wrong
Note: In ASCII, 25 stands for %
This conforms to RFC 2368 and is correct behavior, a "%" percent sign starts an escaped encoding and as such must be encoded itself. See also http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2368 and http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc1738 and related.
