Comments are not supported by the docx import filter at all. Actually it is only
"CommentRange", "CommentReference" is supported, but as the GUI of Office 2007
seems to only support the first, no comments at all are imported when opening
with Writer.

Even worse, the comment text is included into the document's text as well as a
page break, breaking the layout of the document completly.

As every review I read mentions the new notes' feature including screenshots,
this is a clear showstopper for me.

SBA: This works fine with the .doc format or Word. There is no easier workaround
than MS Office's default format :-). The newly introduced docx filter is not yet
as well supported as the doc filter. Therefore I do not regard this one a
showstopper for OOo3.0 at this point (CLOSE to RC).
Change target to OOo 3.1

changing the values?

SBA: As discussed in yesterdays release chat, this is not a showstopper as the
docx filter has yet "bigger fish to catch" and must be regarded as "still under
development".
Thus I remove the link to 88888.

mod->sba: well, from the minutes I read this:

"Maximilian Odendahl proposed issue 93092 as blocker issue. Issue has not yet
been accepted. Martin will collect some data about estimation efforts and risk
assessment"

So was this done already and therefore you changed status? Would be nice to get
the outcome somehow.

I guess you will just do it your way anyway, but for the record:

- notes was worked on for a year
- docx was one large new feature and is mentioned in every review

having these items not combined seems rather weired
