Calc: formula editing doesn't trigger update of 2nd window
Last modified: 2013-05-10 11:55:47 UTC
Yodel! Sorry for reporting an Oo.org 2.4 bug, I don't have a Oo.org 3 installation handy here. Oo.org is Debian package version 2.4.1-8 In Calc, I open a 2nd Window of a document so I can more easily edit formulas with cross-sheet references. Double-clicking the formula in Window A brings up the colored frames for references on the sheet in Window A. I need to cause Window B to redraw (by changing the visible sheet or by scrolling, for instance) to bring up the colored frame in Window B. When I know which cells are referenced, I can use the mouse to modify the reference (whereupon the frame is immediately drawn), so the only thing is a "redraw" event being sent to the 2nd window. Similar: I hit enter or esc to end editing the formula, and the frame stays until the next redraw. cheers -- vbi
avbidder, please provide screenshot. Thanks.
A simple calculation of 1+1 can not be performed when first 1 in window A and second 1 in window B. Result is 1 instead of 2 Rev. 1479897 Win 7
