have a table with window fixed
cursor is in the first column left of the fixing
goto another table within same file
go back to first table

cursor/selection is invisible - you just see the dot in the right corner

cursor-keys moves the frame and it is visible again 
(but all is deselected - which is the annoying part of the story )

This happens in the described column only.

In OOo3.0RC4 On WinXP，I can not reproduce it. Please provide a step by step 
instruction to reproduce this issue and an attachment.

hm, how to show something invisible.
However, the above is at actual a step-by-step receipt, so you may try for yourself

1.Create a new or open an Ods file.
2.select some cells(two or more).
3.go to another sheet within same file.
4.go back to first sheet.
Now only one cell(the right corner cell ) is selected.
Do you mean this situation or like this?
