Description kkarpieszuk 2008-10-11 23:49:08 UTC
i will just describe step by step what i do and what is a (unwanted) result.

1. choose menu View > Toolbars > Fontwork
2. click fontwork gallery icon
4. choose some style and click OK
5. double click Fontwork with text "fontwork" to change this text
6. write new text (i.e. "New text" but i doesn't matter what you write)
7. click somewhere outside of the fontwork
8. choose Edit > Undo to undo setting fontwork in a background of document.
Fontwork will be again selected with text "New text")
9. resize fontwork
Unwanted result: Fontwork is resized, but text of it is again "Fontwork". "New
text" dissapear.

In step 8 undo is not about "setting to background" but undo is about "Edit text
of shape". You can see it if you read the tooltip of that undo action at the
icon or open the drop-down list with the little triangle.

But there is indeed an error. The undo action restores the old text, but the
change is not shown. It needs a further action like changing size to show the
changed text. I change the summary acccordingly. Component is likely not Writer,
but I don't know whether Framework or Graphic is correct.

It is not a simple redraw problem, because the text remains wrong if you scroll
oder minimize/maximize window or force refresh with shift+ctrl+r.

The error is not only in Writer, but also in Draw, Impress, and Calc. I see the
error only on Fontwork objects, not on other shapes.
