Description rossnixon 2008-10-18 05:21:43 UTC
Text that is animated to scroll back and forth, is visible in editing mode, but
invisible in slide-show mode. The same error happened several versions ago, but
was fixed.

Tested today in OOo 3.0 final.
I opened a presentation that works correctly in OOo 2.4.1.
I also added a new text animation to a slide, this also did not display in
slide-show mode.

Sorry, not reproducible. Can you attach a file for reproduction, please?

This is likely a problem with the graphic card. Goto Tools > Options > OOo >
View and disable hardware acceleration. Does it works than? If yes, then it is
duplicate to issue 94392.
Comment 3 rossnixon 2008-10-22 09:12:49 UTC
Turned off hardware acceleration as suggested.
This did make the animated text visible; but also caused multiple new video
display errors on several slides.

Note: I have both OOo 2.4.1 and 3.0 on the SAME computer. The slide show has no
errors at all in 2.4.1. Therefore there is no problem with the graphics card.
