Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 95206
Impossible to run an extension macro from the IDE
Last modified: 2008-12-08 13:11:50 UTC
A simple Basic macro of an extension cannot be run from Tools > Add-on menu in the IDE. This was possible on 2.x. Regression. Next attachment test2.oxt works OK on 2.3.1 and does not on 3.0.0. In the Basic IDE should appear : Tools > Add-ons > essaisTest2 > Un message en Basic IDE This item runs a Hello macro. Do not use the second sub-menu item, it has an intentional error.
Created attachment 57311 [details] A simple extension with Add-on menu on BasicIDE, WriterWeb, Impress

Reproduction: - Install sample extension from this issue - Open BASIC IDE for basTest2/Module1 - Menu: Extras->Add-Ons->essaitest2->Un message en Basic IDE -> in 2.4 the message "Hello !" appears, in 3.0 an exception comes up. A bad regression, setting 3.0.1 as target, reassigning to AB as i do not know where the root cause of the problem is.
FIXED, -> cws ab64
ab->jsk: Please verify
Nice little "hello" printed instead of an exception Verified.
I've seen the Hello in m13. Closing.
