Description genio1981 2008-10-22 17:24:48 UTC
I have a few word documents that come from a teacher at school that do not
properly render on OOo 3.0 on my MacBook Pro.

I opened the same document with Apple's "Pages" application, and it said I was
missing the French Script MT font. I thought this might be the problem since
this is a chemistry document that has some (not many) extra characters (lambda,
for example).

I found the font and downloaded/installed it. The document then rendered nearly
perfectly in Pages, but still had the same errors in OOo 3.0. Since the two
applications are very similar, I downloaded NeoOffice to see how it would render
in that. It renders in that the same way it does in Pages, mostly correct.

I will attach one of the many documents from this teacher that don't show up
properly and take some screen-shots of how it's rendering in OOo 3.0. If you
need any other information, please let me know.

Thanks,
Chase
