Description stx123 2008-11-01 14:29:56 UTC
1. I open a new writer document
2. I insert a Header (Insert -> Header -> Default or with page styles)
3. I write text for chapter style "Heading 1" and "Heading 2" with different text
4. I insert a Field "Chapter name" Level 1 (Insert -> Document -> Chapter ->
Chapter name -> Level: 1), write " - " and insert a Field "Chapter name" Level 2
(Insert -> Document -> Chapter -> Chapter name -> Level: 2)

What make OOo: the second Field with the Level 2 Chapter have the same content
as the first Field with the chapter level 1 (the text of the Heading 1 style)
What I expect: in the second Field the content of Heading 2 text

example:
Heading 1: OpenOffice.org
Heading 2: Writer

Header: [Field Chapter level 1] - [Field Chapter level 2]
expected: OpenOffice.org - Writer
OOo 3.0: OpenOffice.org - OpenOffice.org

A sample Document follows.

A very old problem, see issue 16211.
