1. launch OOo

 2. command-O

 3. command-F

 4. type something

 5. command-A

= Intention =

Select, then copy to Clipboard, text relating to something that you are seeking.

= Expected =

command-A should select all text.

= Actual =

System bleep/beep.

As Spotlight is fairly omnipresent in Mac OS X, so broadest compatibility of OOo with Spotlight is desirable.

Reproduced with the same steps. As result "Edit" menu blinked, but all text wasn't selected.

Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
