Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 96462
Assigning a macro to an event - textboxes should be editable
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:55:52 UTC
When assigning a macro to a control's event, there is a textbox that displays the path to the macro to use (after it has been assigned using the GUI). I am in a situation right now where I have 12 pages with a number of the same button, and I changed a macro assignment on one. I was hoping to be able to copy the and paste the text of the macro's path to all the different instances of this button, but since it is not editable I cannot. Instead I must click the macro assignment button and navigate through my library to correct each button (much, much slower). Of course, if all the implementations of the button were identical, I could just copy the whole button, but this will not always be the case (they may differ visually, or have different events enabled etc).

TM->JSK: please have a look, thanks !
Confirmed. Setting target 3.2 (UI freeze for 3.1 is too close), setting platform "all". This would indeed be a nice feature and has a number of benefits for QA Automation as well. Please make sure that the controls are available to the VCL Testtool. If in doubt please contact PB.
TKR -> AB: please take over.

No capacity to realize this in the near future. This also would require much more effort for input checking and error handling.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
